A bit about Sue Quinlan...

Sue Quinlan is an award winning pastel and oils artist
working and living on the Leelanau Peninsula. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in fine arts and continues learning by attending workshops taught by nationally known artists. Her work has been in national, regional and local juried exhibitions.

Sue has worked in many mediums for many years. She
says, "I love to paint outside from life. It is challenging to capture the essence of a scene as the light constantly changes. Essentially, what I am trying to depict is the light itself. I love color and light the way others love music."
